Testimonials
What did you expect from the coaching process? I wasn’t sure what to expect. I hoped I would feel supported and not nagged. I hoped I would feel understood and heard. I hoped that coaching would give me the structure to make some changes that would make me feel more in control of my life.
How well did your coach support you to meet these expectations? I am getting terrific support from Cynthia. She has been understanding and non-judgmental. She has met me with friendliness, great ideas and good questions. She strikes a nice balance between letting me talk and keeping me on track with setting goals for myself.
What particular strengths did your coach bring to the coaching process? Cynthia has a wealth of knowledge about ADHD. She shared personal stories about her own struggles, and she was able to speak about how others are affected by ADHD as well. This helped me feel less of a failure. When I talk with Cynthia, I feel I am connecting with someone who knows what it is like to be me.
Looking back over the whole coaching process, what were the highlights? Hmmm. There are many gems. When I finish a call, I usually come away with a sound bite or two that rings in my ear for the week. I think the highlights are getting along better with my husband and starting to work on losing weight and getting healthier. My boundaries around keeping my work life from overtaking my family time have improved. I am still working on my goal of getting places on time without rushing around at the last minute. Bringing awareness to my habits without being hard on myself has been a giant step in making positive changes.
Is there any other feedback that you would like to give your coach? Not at this time. Cynthia-you are terrific!
